In the series of humanitarian campaigns held by Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing for voluntary blood donation and for the medical welfare of mankind, another mega Blood Donation Camp & Jan Kalyan Parmarthi Shivir (a free medical check-up camp) was organized in the holy premises of Shah Satnam Ji Dham, Sirsa on 27th July, 2013. Both the camps were inaugurated by His Holiness Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan by ‘Joining the Ribbons’, a practice customary and unique to this institution. The blood donation camp was specifically conducted to provide aid to the Indian Army.
The team of Indian Armed Transfusion Center, New Delhi under the leadership of Colonel Sunil Arora reached at the venue to collect blood. A sense of enthusiasm was seen amongst all the blood donors. The Indian Army collected 600 units of blood from the camp as per their requirement.
On the other hand, several specialist & super-specialist doctors rendered their selfless services in the Jan Kalyan Parmarthi Shivir. These included Heart Specialist from New Delhi Dr. Rajiv Bajaj, Dr. C.M. Khanna, Dr. Dinesh Talwar, Dr. Vandana, Dr. Pankaj Garg from Chandigarh, Dr. Mehak, Dr. Braham Singh from Noida, Dr. Lalit, Cancel Specialist Dr. Lovenish, Dr. Arun Aggarwal, Psychiatrist from Patiala Dr. Iqbal Singh, Dr. Vikram Singh, Dr. Neharaj Singh from Delhi, Dr. Mohit, Dr. Sanjay Chopra, Dr. Sonia Chopra along with the specialist staff of Shah Satnam Ji Speciality Hospital including CMO Dr. M.P. Singh, Dr. Ashok Insan, Dr. Vedika Insan, Dr. Puneet Insan and others.
About 1510 patients (740 males and 770 females) were examined in the free medical check-up camp. Besides this, calipers (Artificial body parts) were also provided to 55 polio patients who were operated during the Polio Camp held in the month of April.
Revered Guru Ji met the team of Indian Army who reached here to collect blood and doctors who came to render their medical services during the inauguration and blessed them with HIS divine benevolence and asked for their well-being.
Revered Guru Ji uttered on the occasion, “You can give a new life to someone through Blood Donation. Body does not become deficient of any element by blood donation, however it recovers the amount of donated blood within a week through normal diet itself.”
Colonel Sunil Arora who arrived here with the Indian Army team also said, “Even in metro cities of our nation, people do not come forward to donate blood but the volunteers of Dera Sacha Sauda come to donate blood without giving them a call. This spirit is just incredible. Blood Donation is infact a moral duty of every citizen.”
