Green ‘S’ Volunteers Showcased Their Talents in ‘Anami-E-Sai’ National Games Competition
Glimpses of 1st Day of ‘Anami-E-Sai’ National Games Compititions
On the auspicious occasion of Incarnation Day (Avtaar Diwas) of Revered Saint Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj, the two-day ‘Anami-E-Sai’ National Games Competitions are being held in SMG Sports Complex.
The games were commenced by saying the holy slogan (Dhan Dhan Satguru Tera Hi Asra) and enchanting the prayer in chorus. Around 500 players of Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing from various states viz. Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, UP, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh & several celibate volunteers (Satbrahmchari sewadar) participated and displayed their talents. A few of them have demonstrated their abilities and skills at National and International level.
In volleyball, Haryana won by beating Rajasthan by 2-0; Punjab won by beating Rajasthan by 2-0, Punjab won by beating SBS team by 2-0 and Haryana won by beating SBS team by 2-0 and entered next level. In ‘Hurdle Race’ finals, Sonu from Haryana, Iqbal from Punjab, Ravinder, Shiva and Kuldeep from Uttar Pradesh carried the day. In National Kabaddi, Rajasthan beat Punjab by 39-22, and Himachal Pradesh beat Haryana by 55-9. In Circle Kabaddi, Punjab won beating Rajasthan by 33-0, Haryana won Rajasthan by 14-0, and Punjab won beating Haryana by 21-2.
Games Played:
In Men’s category, the players selected on the basis of state level trials and became the contestants in this ‘Two Day Competition’. Now, they are displaying their talent in Gulstick, Volley ball shooting, National Kabaddi, and Hurdle Race. In women’s category, the players of Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing participated in Circle Kabaddi and Picho Bijon. These kinds of games are organized several times annually. The players have great passion and enthusiasm on extreme level for the games organized in January, August and November.
