Volunteers Displayed Their Talents in ‘Anami-E-Sai’ Games Competition

On the auspicious occasion of Incarnation Day (Avtaar Diwas) of Revered Saint Shah Mastana Ji Maharaj, the two-day ‘Anami-E-Sai’ Games Competitions were held in SMG Sports Complex on 15th & 16th Nov’13.

The games were inaugurated by Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan by hoisting flag with HIS pious hands and releasing a cluster of gas-filled balloons carrying slogan of the tournament in air. Players of Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing from various states viz. Punjab, Haryana, Delhi, UP, Rajasthan, Himachal Pradesh & from foreign countries marched proudly in the complex and Revered Guru Ji took the salute.

Games, in which the competition were held including newly invented games by Revered Guru Ji viz. ‘Bhaale Se Nishana’ (Javelin Shooting), ‘Gul-Stick’ besides Slow Cycle Race, Tug of War (640 Kg weight) and ‘Matki-Tod’ in Men’s Category whereas Lawn Tennis & Sack Race were included in Women’s category.

During the closing ceremony of ‘Anami-E-Sai’ Games Competition on 16th November evening, Revered Guru Ji awarded the winners with medals. Players also gained significant tips and knowledge about the rules of the games from His Holiness during the competition. Punjab overtook the overall Trophy by scoring 29 points whereas Haryana stood at 26 points only. Final results of all the respective games are:
Green s welfare wing games

  • In Women’s Sack Race, Kanchan from Rajasthan won the competition beating Meenu from Delhi.
  • Punjab won Tug of War beating Haryana by 2-0 in the finals.
  • Haryana team won the ‘Matki Tod’ competition by bursting the pitcher in a record-breaking time of 48 seconds beating the team of Sat-Brahmchari Sewadars who held the runner-up position with a record of 3.48 minutes.
  • Vijay from Yamunanagar, Haryana won Slow Cycling Race beating Pradeep from Kotakpura, Punjab.
  • In the new game ‘Bhale se Nishana’ (Javelin Shooting) invented by Revered Guru Ji, Bhola Singh from Bhikhi, Punjab won the competition by gaining 10 points while Balbir Singh from Himachal Pradesh and ‘Sat Brahmchari Sewadaar’ (Celibate Volunteer) Lakhwinder Insan shared the second position by scoring 7 points. This new game was a center of excitement for the audience which got aggravated when His Holiness created a new rule that if a player is able to shoot in between the four bottles placed at the smallest red circle in the center, he would gain 15 points.
  • Pinki from Haryana won the Lawn Tennis competition beating Kanchan from Punjab by 7-5, 6-0.
  • In Gul-Stick, Shah Satnam Ji Cricket Academy Team won the competition beating Punjab in the finals.

Opening & Closing Ceremony:

The 2-day ‘Anami-E-Sai’ Games Competition was commenced and concluded with a grand ceremony. Artistic cultural program was organized wherein members of Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing, Youth Welfare Federation Members, ‘Youth Veerangnayein’ and students of Shah Satnam Ji Educational Institutes performed beautiful folk and modern dances, plays depicting social values and a documentary encouraging blood donation, demonstrating achievements & contribution of Dera Sacha Sauda in this field was presented in front of audience.

On the occasion of closing ceremony, Revered Saint Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan also awarded trophies to the blocks who achieved second and third position in executing some of the pre-determined welfare activities marvelously. The activities included Highest Number of Marriages Arranged for Widow and Poor Girls, Highest Number of Homes Constructed for the Needy, Highest Number of Devotees Present During Constitution of a Block and Highest Number of Members Enrolling in Shah Satnam Ji Green ‘S’ Welfare Force Wing.

His Holiness also honored the officials, coaches, 25 members of Youth Welfare Federation and members of cultural committee with gifts as token of love for performing their jobs so efficiently.
